COURSE OVERVIEW:

In AYS 4 we will apply the science of the first 3 Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist (AYS) courses in the context of clinical use with training clients.
We’ll review physiology, psychology, Ayurvedic treatment plans, dinacharya, lifestyle, and subtle body practices of yoga, and you will be introduced to the use of tongue and pulse diagnosis with individuals.

Upon completion of this module, you will graduate as a Certified Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist. This NAMA recognized Aurvedic education will work as a wrap-around to your existing yoga teaching business and an extension to teaching students in a one-on-one setting.

A Certified Ayurvedic Yoga specialist is able to:

  • Design and implement Ayurvedic yoga classes to support pacification of doshic imbalance

  • Add in Ayurvedic practices in one to one sessions as a wrap-around support to your yoga clients’ healing program

  • Offer Ayurveda 101 educational programs

  • Create individual treatment plans for clients as a Certified Ayurveda Yoga Specialist.

  • Create seasonal cooking and seasonal cleansing programs

  • Begin the Torchbearer program to support your work in using Ayurveda as part of your healing tools.

PREREQUISITES

All students will have completed Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist modules 1, 2 and 3.

For certification tract – 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certified yoga teacher (or currently enrolled)
